Sanchez explained that the collaboration with Gucci adds depth to the collection. And welcomes art enthusiasts and fashionistas alike to delve into the works’ shared themes.

Sanchez stated:

“The Gucci name has such a power, and they have their own audience and a proven record that their audience is probably very different from ours.”

Gucci has been steadily expanding its digital fashion and art initiatives. While Christie’s has been a frontrunner in the Web3 field ever since it sold artist Beeple’s “EVERYDAYS” NFT.

The Gucci Vault, the brand’s virtual experience venue, was built on property bought in February 2022 in the metaverse The Sandbox. The company and Yuga Labs announced their collaboration to deliver haute fashion to the Otherside earlier this year.
